Organisms rid the cell of harmful things that could damage the cell.
if your in a classroom and their are more people on that other side what would you do? You would move to the less filled area than the more filled area.
Here is an ex: Passive transport & active transport Diffusion and osmosis are both passive transport.
If you don't know what diffusion is it is when the molecule spread out until they are even.
That is very important for cell functions.
